The Snake By Jeff Thompson
This is the second of Jeff's routes in Spain
Again, Jeff and his Red Ferrari F430, along with two other road warriors make use question why we were not invited to Spain.
Jeff details the route in his own words:-
Just East of Andorra starting near the Spanish town of Puigcerda close to the French border is where you'll want to start this route.
From Puigcerda drive South on road E9/N-152. Soon after leaving Puigcerda behind the N-152 will take off to your left. As you drive along the N-152 you will notice your coming up to the Mountains edge (this is where the fun begins).
You will start at the top of the Mountains side peak and head down from there to Ribes de Freser. Sometimes you will be tempted to pass a slower vehicle but beware as you can see a fair ways off you might miss a slow moving truck coming at you from the other direction hidden behind a curve point. This is a road you will want to master as it's a blast!
Things to watch out for. Cyclists, cows (rare but it happens), crazy knee draggers and oh did I say cow shit? Try hitting a corner at warp only to find cow shit has caused you to lose your tire contact with the road. I have seen and experienced almost all of that but have not spun out or hit anything. This is one twisty road.
When you finish at Ribes de Freser you can continue on to Besalu ( take the N-152 to Ripoll turn East at the N-260 towars Olot) which is a beautiful Medieval town for a well deserved drink.
